Interactive Whiteboard Lesson

The interactve whiteboard lesson appeared daunting when I first saw it. I thoguht to myself: How on earth am I going to figure this crazy contraption out??? little did I know that with the basics that professor boyer would teach us, it would not be a difficult task to undertake. As soon as I started, I knew I wanted to focus on something that would educate the younger grades. So, I looked in the teaching standards and found something that seemed developmentally appropriate for first graders. I decided on understanding that things can be sorted into categories. My first draft was a little rough around the edges but understandable. So after I got my feedback, I really took a hold of that IWB and combed those knots right out of the mess. My final outcome is something I am still impressed that  made. I am excited to share this information with my peers, and I hope that they will  possibly use this in their classroom. Once I offer something to a network of people I can start creating alliances and resources that I may not have had without my willingness to help them. I feel more comfortable in my abilities to undertake tasks that may appear daunting when I first see them, because in reality everything with a little work can be handled!
